Processing Time

All items are handmade unless otherwise stated. Because each piece is crocheted individually, processing times vary depending on the complexity of the item and current order volume.

Typical processing times:

• ready to ship items: 3-5 business days

• made to order items: 7-21 business days, from start date. Please note that your item(s) is NOT guaranteed to be started on the date the order is placed. All orders are made on a first come first serve basis.

Processing time does NOT include shipping time. If an order is needed by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order.

Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (Canada)

Orders are shipped within Canada using tracked postal services. Delivery times vary by location but typically range from 3-10 business days after shipment.

United States Shipping

Orders shipped to the United States typically arrive within 7-14 business days after shipment, depending on postal carrier and customs processing.

International Shipping

International shipping is available to select countries.

Delivery times typically range from 10-30 business days after shipment but may take longer due to customs processing or postal delays.

Customs and Import Fees

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees determined by the destination country. These charges are THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Tracking

Orders are shipped with tracking whenever possible. once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been shipped, delivery is handled by the postal carrier. Crochet by A is NOT responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

If a package is lost in transit, please contact us so we can assist in opening a claim with the shipping carrier.

Returns or Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of our products, returns and exchanges are handled on a limited basis.

Returns or exchanges may be accepted if:

• The wrong item was sent

• The item arrives damaged or defective

Requests must be made within 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

To request a return or exchange, please contact us with:

• Your order number

• Time stamped Photos of the item AND packaging

• A breif description of the issue

If a return is approved, the item must be UNUSED and returned in its original condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was on our part.

Custom Orders

Custom crochet pieces are welcome and allow customers to receive a one-of-a-kind item tailored to their style.

Before begininning a custom piece, we will confirm:

• design details

• colors

• yarn type

• measurments or sizing

• ESTIMATED completion time

• final price, before shipping

Because custom items are made specifically for the customer, CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NON-REDUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.

Clear communication is essention to ensure the finished piece meets expectations.

Custom Clothing Measurements

For custom clothing items such as dresses or tops, customers may be asked to provide measurments including:

• Bust

• Waist

• Hips

• Desired length

• Height

Accurate measurments are the responsibility of the customer. Crochet by A CANNOT guarantee fit if incorrect measurments are provided.

Care Instructions

To preserve the quality and longevity of handmade crochet items:

• Hand wash in cold water

• Use mild detergent

• Do Not wring or twist

• Lay flat to dry

• Avoid high heat

Improper washing may cause shrinkage or fiber damage. Any damage done due to improper washing or other care is NOT the responsibility of Crochet by A.

Disclaimers

Handmade Item Notice

All pieces are handmade indivigually using crochet techniques. Because of the nature of handcrafted work, slight variations in stitch tension, texture, and finishing may occur.

These small diffrences are normal and are part of what makes each handmade item unique.

Variegated Yarn Notice

Items made with variegated or multicolored yarn will naturally display shifting color patterns throughout the fabric.

Because each item is handmade and may require multiple skeins, the placement of colors, striping, or shading may vary from piece to piece. Skeins may also be started from diffrent ends, which can change the color progression.

These variations are a natural characteristic of variegated yarn and ensure that every item is one of a kind.

Yarn Dye Lot Variation

Yarn is produced in batches called dye lots. While we make every effort to use matching skeins, slight color differences can occur between dye lots.

If an item requires additional skeins beyond the original batch, there may be subtle differences in shade. This is a normal occurance in textile production.

Color Accuracy Notice

We strive to photograph products as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions, photography, and individual screen settings.

Actual product colors may vary slightly from what appears on your device.
